Wai is Vegeta not SSJ2 yet?

i assume salagir believes vegeta couldnt do it before the majin spell.

no. in salagirs view. vegeta only managed to reach ssj2 because of the majin power boost.

so in the last broly special he still only had super saiyan (and ascended saiyan a.k.a super vegeta)

So that means he only went ssj2 in the games?

In the Manga, he's implied to have it before Majin, but he doesn't actually demonstrate SSj2 without Majin until after he comes back from the dead.
