Multiverse:

Goku: 14.15
Vegeta: 14.25

SSj Goku: 1528.20
SSj Vegeta: 1539.00

SSj2 Goku: 15282.00
SSj2 Vegeta; 15390.00

As valid as these numbers are they are bullcrap and contradictory. Only exacerbated when you put the limiters in mind, in which case Vegeta should have slowed down sometime before Goku did.

Unless it's not an age related thing, but an actual ultimate limit to your potential?

For example, Goku increased his power by something like...150x from birth to the start of the Saiya-jin saga. I'm guessing Vegeta was born with a power level over 1000 and probably just increased his by something like 18x in a longer time frame.

Vegeta may very well have a higher potential, but didn't actually begin hardcore training or growth until long after Goku. So it might just be that he's tapering off a little slower than Goku is.

vegeta claimed to already have a higher powerlevel as a child then his father.
but his power must have increased very slow then.

when he arived in the saiyan saga, he had a power level of 18.000 (180.000 in oozaru form)
bardock at the end of his life had a power level of 10.000 and the scientists mentioned he would soon surpass king vegeta.

I think king vegeta had a power level of 11.000, so if (prince) vegeta had a power level of 12.000 as a child. he must have grown very slow over those years

Goku was approximately 10 years younger than Vegeta due to his death during the Cell saga and already had an advantage with his power level, and Salagir did specifically say that it is related to age though I'm sure he'll add the potential excuse later. Regardless lets stick with age until further notice. By all intents and purposes Goku should be stronger than Vegeta all around. Unless Vegeta did receive a mystic power boost, but not by work.

My age theory counter argument:

//The age theory doesn't work too well because not only do we account for their slowed aging that Vegeta mentions at the end of the series, but how old are these characters exactly. Take Goku for example. According to Dragon Ball wiki Goku was 36 or 37 after the cell saga (the sources are "official" but they vary.... a lot), they also say that Vegeta was 44 during the Buu saga which would make him the same age as Goku though they also say he was born 5 years earlier. Never trust wiki's....

In any case, Goku was 22 when he married Chi-chi after the 23rd martial arts tournament (assuming each tournament actually does take place every 5 years, and the fact that Goku said he was only 12 at the first one). I'm not sure how much time they wasted before they "did it" but its not like they were doing much prior (Goku was jobless, and Chi-chi seemed to be VERY ready etc.) So lets say Goku was 26 when Gohan was 4 at the beginning of DBZ. From the beginning of DBZ to the Cell saga 7 years pass (Gohan's 11th birthday) Goku loses (dies by Piccolo's attack) and regains a year (RoSaT) So he's at most 33 when he dies after the Cell games. Its pretty much agreed that people don't age in other world so he's still physically 33 while he's chronologically 40, IF dead people do age in other world he may actually physically 40 lets see some one defend that they do. Okay now 10 years pass after the Buu saga Goku is 43 physically (or 50), Vegeta THEN makes a point to say that saiyans age slower than humans. Also keep in mind Goku said he was "busy training" during the 10 years before Uub came, and he trained the following 10 years with Uub before GT/DBM. How old approximately is Salagir and his defenders saying that saiyans get once their power growth slows? //

This is probably the only thing that can ruin DB Multiverse. That is unless Salagir is able to make Goku and Vegeta stronger than the same level Mystic Gohan in any way, such as some technique.
