How strong is Cell?

What are your theories of Cells power?

So he killed SSJ2 Teen Gohan in the Kamehameha struggle, Goku remained dead, and Cell absorbed Vegeta, Trunks and Piccolo?

I think this, plus his years of training would put him at about Ultimate Gohan's power.

Wait, you think Cell absorbed Vegeta, Trunks, and Piccolo? For one thing, Trunks was dead by the time the kamehameha struggle happened. For another, I think Cell was done with his absorbing back when his tail became vestigial. Finally, you think he would absorb Piccolo, Trunks, and Vegeta, but would ignore Krillin, Tien, and Yamcha?

That universe was covered in the novel.

Cell beat Gohan because Vegeta thought it was hopeless and didn't give Gohan an opening by blasting him.

Cell killed Gohan, and then Vegeta, piccolo and the Humans all ganged up on him and one by one got killed.

It was actually a pretty bad ass chapter.

I wish there would be an English translation for the novel. It felt weird reading it from Google Translate.

why would cell absorb the z-fighters. when he also has their cells and power.
he only absorbed #17 & #18. and only drained humans in his first form, not absorb.

i think dbm full power cell could rival mystic gohan (mainly because gohan doesn't train)

the super namek would trash him

alright cell admits vegetto and broly are obviously stronger, but cell is able to get stronger as the tournament continues. so i think his plan is blow himself up again or let himself come to near death. as it stands i think U18 vegeta and goku are stronger than cell by a fair margin.

I think it would be very strange if cell is stronger then goku and vegeta u18.
seeing as salagirs is so desperate on keeping gohan the strongest. why would cell be allowed to grow faster then?

Salagir wants Gohan to be stronger than Goku and Vegeta for the same reason Cell could be stronger than Gohan: genetics. Half-saiyans have more potential than full saiyans, and Gohan has power beyond his full potential due to the elder kai boost. According to Salagir, Gohan is as strong as he can ever become: his power is maximum.

Cell, being genetically designed from the ground up to be the ultimate warrior, has even more potential than Gohan. What's more, it is implied that he has been training the whole time. So Cell could very well be stronger than Goku and Vegeta. However, unlike Gohan, his power has not been unlocked past his potential. He is not as strong as he could possibly become. His power is not maximum. Does that mean it's lower than Gohan's? Maybe, maybe not. We'll see when it comes up in the comic.

Nah, fifth and sixth are Gohan. Cell is probably seventh. Unless he really is as strong as he's been acting, in which case he's probably fourth or fifth.

I wouldn't expect Cell to train however, if salagir does, he could be very strong if he does so...

1st, how many threats could Cell have faced?
-Bojack [King kai died]
-Dabura [has enough power get their attention]
-Brolli's return? [SPCell and a few Cell jr does not match salagir's win SSJ1-3 Kamehameha + Vegeta]

2nd, how many Zenkai's could Cells Body actually have gotten [better regen than a namek makes it harder to zenkai imho] since he's not really in danger of dying.

3rd, how creative is salagir's Cell. Being an artificial life form, I see him as having the Data [from start trek ng] complex. No imagination, or original ideas. Cell needs an outside source to improve upon himself as his programming tells him he is complete and perfect. His knowledge base on how the Z-warriors trained could be very limited in contrast to knowledge on how they fight.

A. Piccolo [well as kamicolo] was the last significant sample.
B. [Freeza, Cold... maybe Vegeta again or whoever would have fought if not for Trunks]

I seriously doubt Gohan would have suggested allowing Bra to relieve stress by attacking him if she was stronger than him.

i dont. bra wouldnt kill her brother just because shes mad. and gohan has taken blows from gotenks buu at this point and lived, despite that power gap. hell she would probably calm down to base before hitting gohan.

I also doubt Cell fought Brolli but for the reason i listed above. Cell has too much Vegeta to not get killed by waiting for Brolli's LSSJ form. The dominant ki in Cell could be Goku's... so if brolli did return I doubt Cell could have handled the situation as U-18 did.

it was really programmed into him to observe weaknesses in his opponent. Cell noticing Super Trunks moving slower than Super Vegeta when his P.Cell form is significantly faster than both does not require imagination or original ideas/concepts.... the buff is practically just Roshi's max power stacked on a SSJ anyway. Cell already had it designed into his imperfect form the ability to self destruct in order to kill Goku... and that is exactly what he did. #16 makes this even more credible. Cell didn't even know he could regen until Piccolo did so in front of him. So what ingenuous crap did Cell actually do?

Standing there and taking a hit is way different than being hit in a fight. For one thing, in a fight, you generally move to reduce the damage of the hit, try to dodge it, or try to block it. During the fight with Gotenks Buu, Gohan never just stood still and took a hit. When Gohan told Bra to hit him, he was just standing there. He didn't tell Bra to fight him, he told her to hit him.

Gohan powered up before telling her to hit him. If he was so sure that she wasn't going to actually hit him, he wouldn't have bothered. On the other hand, if there was any risk of her actually seriously injuring him, he would have let Vegetto take care of it instead of intervening.

but he didnt realise that when fighting ssj2 gohan. cell isnt that skilled in detecting power levels and figuring out that yeah gohan just might be stronger and faster than he is.

He didn't tell Bra to fight him, he told her to hit him.

well maybe he decided to intimidate her into backing down. after all, bra wouldnt do anything to risk pan's resurrection once she knew that fighting bojack would endanger it. its possible he never intended to take hits from ssj bra.
