some believe broly got weaker. pretty logical. 7 years sitting in ice does that to you.

thinking about it, i really want to see U9. mostly for how the hell they beat all those villains goku beat. cos many underestimate the humans (especially toriyama himself).

Like stated before. broly's main weakness is that he lacks martial arts skills and relies on brute strenght and wresteling moves.
then there is also the fact he used ssj for most of movie 10 and was just toying with goten and trunks.

but of course the main reason why goten, trunks and specialy videl even managed to survive against him is PLOTARMOR.

Ugh... let's not even start on Broly's SSJ in movie 10.

im in this massive debate about the humans. how everyone is like "pff they cant get stronger than frieza". tien vs cell is the big proof that humans have untapped potential. also mr satan surviving a punch from kid buu

Well...without some way to even out Zenkai, they don't get stronger than Frieza in any of the "cannon"ish universes (At least, not with DBM progression rates).

Of course they do in their own, but we're waiting to see how Salagir did it. ^_^

well kaioken and rosat would make them plenty strong. plus combining their other techniques designed to beat stronger opponents, ie kikoho, kienzan and solar flare.

Right. Human tactics and teamwork probably account for a lot of their victories rather than raw power.

krillin took over the turtle school of martial arts. and focused on team work to bring a more powerfull opponent down.
tien took over the crane school of martial arts. and focused on using powerfull ki blasts and 1 shot finishing move ki blasts to take a stronger opponent down.

Ah.... don't really know. IT appears krillin, yamcha, and tien became masters, of course it is suspicious that krilln the only one showing significant age. The obvious is Goku doesn't exist there, but beyond would be conjecture.

or they wished for immortality? while krillin drank the same potion that rochi did (he does age, but won't die of age/sickness)

I feel like it happened something like this...
Goku dies as a young boy before meeting Roshi or Krillin.
Krillin meets up with Roshi, and Bulma comes looking for the dragon balls and starts the quest with Krillin.
They meet Yamcha on their adventure.
A couple years pass, and they meet Tien and everyone through the tournaments.
Somehow beat up Piccolo.
Raditz comes looking for Goku, but finds Krillin (assuming he would have a high power lvl), and they beat Raditz.
Enter Vegeta and Nappa, people die, but they somehow beat the saiyans.
Namek adventures...
Somehow survives Freeza.
Androids and Cell (?) want to kill Krillin.
Then finally, Krillin and co. kill Babidi and Dabura.

The real question is, how could Krillin get strong enough to beat the likes of Freeza and Dabura?
Maybe he gets killed by Raditz instead of Goku, and trains with Kaiosama learning kaioken and genki dama. That would at least give him a better chance against some of these villains.

It will be very interesting to see the special chapters of most of the other universes, especially U9

agreed. personaly i hope the first one we get (after the broly, vegetto and buu bit is over) is either about the super namek or the super saiyans

super saiyans yeah. or zen buu. specials tend to follow whos important at the time (broly, not so much trunks).
