Power Levels part one: percentages Empty Power Levels part one: percentages

inspired by my beloved friend p123 i decided to try and put out a power level list that basically continues the "canon" power level list from the guides and such.
that list ends with goku ssj. i want to go on with the android saga and so on.

to compile that list, i first need a rough reasoning with percentages, showing who beat who and how much stronger the winner probably was, percentage wise.

p123 had this(changed a bit by me, though):

100%-90% Means you have a competitive fight

89%-80% Slight disadvantage to large disadvantage

79%-70% getting an ass whuppin to getting killed in One shot

this means, if goku is 30% stronger than me, he can kill me in one strong attack.

what do you people think? is this reasonable? imo, it is.

lets try to apply it to goku ssj vs freeza

Goku: 150.000.000
Freeza: 120.000.000
Goku: 100%
Freeza: 80%

so freeza fits right inbetween large disadvantage and getting an ass whuppin, compared to goku. that pretty much describes the fight on namek, imo.

what are your thoughts on this?

note: im doing this whole power list for fun, not to prove anyone wrong (not yet, though Very Happy)

I think you're misremembering the Freeza fight. Freeza was at a large disadvantage when he was at 50% power. When he went to 100%, he was initially winning. It wasn't until he started to get tired that Goku took the advantage again.

goku as a ssj was holding back. because he wanted to make freeza feel defeat while freeza was at full power
so live with the shame of being defeated by a monkey

So, Killjoy, you say the percentages above actually apply/work?

i need voices on this in order for me to finally start calculating power levels for the people after freeza Very Happy

(since the whole tournament thingy is getting out of hand with people now insisting on inventing a goku-measurement of power or something. just let me finish the powr level calculations for the post frezza time and we wont need such a thing at all, guys Very Happy)

I think Killjoy's theory is wrong. Goku wasn't holding back. Why would you hold back against someone who's attacking you when you're trying to avenge your dead friend? It makes even less sense if you assume Goku is trying to make Freeza feel the shame of losing to a saiyan. What's more, Goku didn't have time to hold back. Namek was going to explode in five minutes! Sure it was the longest five minutes in the history of anime, but still.

goku told king kai himself that he wanted to make freeza suffer defeat at the hands of a saiyan.

he knew he was more powerfull then freeza.

another good example is goku vs raditz from the start of DBZ

Goku: about 1.000 PL
Raditz: 1.500 PL

so

Raditz: 100%
Goku: 66,7%

given the beat down raditz gave him. id say the percentage estimates from the first post kinda work out Very Happy

what?
goku's power level then was 330 (with weighted clothes) and 440 without weighted clothes

about radditz it used to be 1200, but then it suddenly got changed to 1500. why was that?

He thought he could beat Freeza, yes. That is not a reason for him to hold back. Also, his plan with King Kai was made back when Freeza was at just 50% power.

according to the db wiki power level list, goku without heavy clothing and powered up is around 950. i put that as 1000 for simplicities sake.

according to the db wiki power level list, raditz is said to be 1200 but actually is at 1500 (guide).

Rather than say "the wiki" you should list what source it uses, because the wiki explicitly lists a source for each power level.

Also, if I recall correctly, 950 was Goku's Kamehameha, but I'd have to double check.
