Saiyan Gene

Some people think that Pan is quarter saiyan.

For me it is wrong. She is half saiyan like Gohan, Goten, Trunks and Bra.

Why?

Because the Saiyan Gene is a Gene. He didn't divide.
It is the same thing than the colour of the eyes for example.

If a true saiyan (SS) fuck a human (HH), the baby will be SH.
Then, if the SH fuck a human (HH), the baby will be either SH or HH. But certainly not SHHH.

Do you agree?

lets view it from a human only side first.

have a white guy and a black woman have a kid. its a girl and she is now half white and half white, resulting in a less strong brown skin color.

now this girl is grown up and has a boy with an asian person.

the resulting boy will now be half "half white half black" and half asian. so that kid is quarter white, quarter black and half asian.


for pan, this means she actually is quarter saiyan. especially since gohan can only give her his x chromosome and not his y chromosome, which would be needed to carry over his complete genetic material, but that would also make her a clone of gohan. pans second x chromosome comes from videl, who is fully human. the human genetic material in pan is quantitively more present than the saiyan genetic material.

doesnt mean she cant get strong or anything. doesnt mean the saiyan genes cant be somehow "stronger" than the human ones. just means she is, genetically, quarter saiyan but three quarter human.

Yes, but justly because, he have not given his complete genetic material, maybe Gohan give to her only his saiyan gene, not the human one.

so pan has

x(half human half saiyan) and x(human)

thus, she is quarter saiyan.

In fact we have 24 chromosome (22 and X and Y).

But each spermatozoon (and ovum) has only 12 chromosome. It can have the X or the Y (but the ovum is obviously X, because girls are XX).

And what I guess is that Saiyan is a Gene, like the X or Y. I call it S for saiyan and H for human.

Boy are XY and girl are XX.
So saiyan are SS, human are HH, and half saiyan are SH.

Thus if an half saiyan fuck an human, the baby will be SH or HH (according if the spermatozoon has S or H).
And if two half saiyan fuck together, the bay can be SS, SH or HH.

So, for me, Pan is SH.

And same thing for Bra : she is SH. And not SSH like some people think (because Vegetto is the fusion of Goku and Vegeta). She is NOT 2/3 saiyan. BUT maybe her "S" which come from Vegetto is "stronger" than the "S" of the other half saiyan.

thats not how genetics work.

but bra is half saiyan. thats just common sense. bulma is human, vegetto is saiyan.

pan now is still born from a full human and a half saiyan and as such is only quarter saiyan.

race is not the same as gender.

gohan being half saiyan means that ALL his chromosomes/genes are mixed. if he now fathers a kid with videl (pan) that kid will get his mixed genes of a half saiyan and the full human genes of videl. those will mix and match and produce the quarter saiyan pan.

if gohan would father a kid with bra, there is a chance that the kid might either be half saiyan as well (most likely), be fully human (unlikely), or even fully saiyan (if gohan and bra actually have the full set of saiyan genes if they combined).

Ok, if it is that, your theory is the good. But are we sure that it is like that?

For example the gene for the colour of the gene are like those for the gender. So maybe it is the same thing for "the saiyan gene".
